Designed for Safety
Yale has a great history for offering safe lift trucks that are suitable for a range of applications. The ability to engineer and produce units for enhanced safety comes from the new technology which is available in the company's experience and the material handling business.
In their newest designs, Yale has started integrating newly available technologies. Several of the new technologies that are available are first applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through functionality and durability testing. The company performs various reliability development and controlled field tests in order to ensure their products are really safe.
To be able to enhance overall safety, Yale has designed and developed a lot of new features, which have been integrated on lots of models such as:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The operator compartment has been engineered with ergonomics in mind, using state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids fatigue and heavy repetitive motions. These added comforts help to increase overall productivity.
Adjustable Operators Compartment and Controls
Having adjustable operator's controls and compartments allows the necessary controls to be able to be positioned in close proximity to a huge array of operators. This helps make the machine user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Before beginning their shift, the operator could make sure he or she is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being operated if the operator is not in the correct operating position. This presence system additionally disables directional travel on trucks that have internal combustion engines.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the LPG tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the operator's natural handling position making the tank easier to change.
